Assalaam u alaikum.

Wish you all a very Happy Eid-ul-Adha. The Eid of Sacrifice. Many Muslims go to perform Hajj this month and as we all know there were two incidents which took place in the Holy City – Makkah (Mecca). The first was was very much disturbing as due to the lightning fall on the crane which was near to the Kaaba & the another one which happen commonly at the time of throwing stones on the Shaytan’s (Devil) Statue. Both the incidents have taken lives of the hundreads of people and many people get injured at same time. May Allah grant them all peace and Jannat-ul-Firdous (The Higher level of degree) and those who are alive may Allah bless them with sabr (Patience)… Ameen.

The Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with peace in India. Some of the minor incidents happened due to Beef Ban, Muslims have been not allowed to do slaughter on cow. Instead, Mostly goats and some other animal’s are left to perform sacrifice. As a result many poor people remained unable to buy them well as in cow 7 person can contribute to make a sacrifice at a time while one goat on behalf of one single person only.
The Eid-ul-Adha is the sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (May Allah have peace and mercy upon him) and it was followed by the last messenger of Allah Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). Muslims all around the world greet and meet their family, relatives and friends after offering prayer of Eid-ul-Adha and gives charity, food to the poor people.
